I bring together neuropsychology, my years in education and mindfulness-based practice so families can understand their needs and build more effective ways forward.
I support children, adolescents and their parents who struggle with attention and learning, helping them understand their needs and develop more effective strategies.
I bring together neuropsychology, my experience in education and mindfulness-based practice.
I look not only at the child's cognitive processes but also at school life, study habits and the parent–child relationship.
I am a neuropsychologist and mindfulness teacher with 23 years of teaching experience. I work with children, adolescents and parents, particularly in the areas of attention, learning processes, academic skills and emotion regulation.
My long experience in education means I care about looking holistically not only at a child's cognitive processes but also at school life, study habits and the parent–child relationship.
In my work I bring together neuropsychology, my experience in education and mindfulness-based practice. My aim is to help children and adolescents understand their strengths and needs, and to help parents develop better ways to support their children.
I focus especially on attention, learning processes and academic success. Supporting the social and academic adjustment of neurodivergent children and adolescents, addressing the difficulties of adjusting to schools that teach in a foreign language, and developing approaches suited to each student's needs are also central to my work.
Education, titles and certificates will be published in this section once the CV is updated.
Every counselling process begins with a first meeting to understand the child's or adolescent's needs and the family's expectations.
Where needed, I carry out work to assess attention, learning and neuropsychological processes. Based on what we learn, I set individual goals and build a practical working plan.
Throughout the process I work not only with the child or adolescent but, when needed, in collaboration with parents and the school. The aim is sustainable, workable solutions in daily life and at school.
We discuss the reason for the referral, the difficulties experienced and expectations.
We evaluate the child's or adolescent's strengths, areas of difficulty and support needs.
We clarify what we expect from the sessions and which areas we want to progress in.
Depending on need, we plan individual sessions, parent sessions, assessment or follow-up.
I meet children, adolescents and parents in person. The content and course of the sessions are shaped by the reason for the referral and the person's needs.
